Information: Clair Smith, 65, of Cottageville, died Monday at the Roane General Hospital in Spencer following a three month illness.  He was born in Ravenswood, son of the late William and Cora Mae Trador Smith.  He is survived by three brothers, Melvin of Parkersburg, Arthur of East Liverpool, Ohio and James of Belpre;  three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Cagle of Belpre, Mrs. Marie Caplinger of Marietta, and Mrs. Flossie Braham of Parkersburg.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Casto Funeral Home in Evans.  The Rev. Gerald Sayre will officiate and burial will be in the Blaine Memorial Cemetery at Cottageville.
