Information: Mrs. Callie W. Smith, 90, of Ripley, died Friday in Morris Memorial Nursing Home, Milton, after a long illness.  She was a member of R. C. Elmore Memorial Advent Christian Church in Charleston and the North American Benefit Association.  Surviving:  husband, Homer; son, James of Ripley; sisters, Mrs. Dorothy James of Charleston, Mrs. Martha Fortney of Maryland; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.  Service was held Monday in Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Louie Dodd officiating.  Burial was in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
