Information: Albert L. Smith, 58, of Masa, Ariz., formerly of Ripley, died Monday, Feb. 2, at home after a sudden illness.  He was a 23-year employee of Kaiser Aluminum Chemical Corporation and was a Navy veteran.  Surviving:  wife, Irene Ann;  son, Alan of Cottageville; daughter, Patti Lutz of Morris, Ill.; brother, Bobby of Buffalo, N. Y.; sister, Geraldine Knapp of Albequerque, N.M.; four grandchildren.  Service was Monday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Russell Burch officiating.  Burial was in Jackson County Memorial Gardens, Cottageville.
