  <p>Information: Harley D. Slider, 64, of Ripley, died Sunday in Jackson General Hospital after a short illness.  He was a Protestant, a retired employee of Kaiser Aluminum, Ravenswood, and a veteran of World War II.  Surviving:  wife, Lora; son, Michael of Ripley; daughter, Terri Fox of Ripley; brothers, Harry of Santa Barbara, Calif., George of Arnoldsburg, William of Parkersburg; sisters, Deane Slider of Fairfield, Calif., Virginia Starcher of Vienna, Lovia Whytsell of Spencer, Greata Sampson and Ollie Starcher, both of Akron, Ellen Craddock of Arnoldsburg; two grandchildren. Service will be 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) in Vail Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Glendon McKee officiating.  Burial will be in the Parrish Family Cemetery, Ripley Road.</p>
