  <p>Information: Miss Elfa Audra Slaughter was born at Cottageville on April 8, 1884, died August 10, 1919 aged 35 years, 4 months and 2 days.  She was converted and joined the United Brethern Church in the year of 1897 and since that time has lived a consistant Christian life to the date of her death.  Her life was indeed worthy of imitation.  She was a trained nurse and very efficient in her profession.  She leaves a mother, one sister and five brothers, one of which is now a soldier with the A. E. F. in France.  Her body was laid to rest in the Cottageville cemetery in the presence of a large gathering of friends and her spirit has gone to be with the Almighty and the redeemed.  The funeral services were conducted by Rev T.
