  <p>Information: Joseph Clarence Skeens, 77, of Millwood, died Oct. 8, 1994, at his home after a long illness.  He was born in Kanawha County, a son of the late Archie and Vanie Skeens.  He was a retired farmer.  Surviving:  brother, Orville of Akron OH; three sisters, Martha Boswell of Given, Bell Parsons of Given and Beulah Hickman of Leon.  Sister-in-law, Genevieve Skeens of Ripley; three step-sons, Larry Boyd of New York, Thomas McCrady of Monterey Park, CA, and Kendall MacArthur of Altoona PA; two step daughters, Linda Poe of Gay and Marilyn Lozano of Bloomington CA.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Laurene Boyd Skeens, and one brother, Everett.  It was his wish that his body be donated to medical science.</p>
