Information: Thomas B. Skeen, 98, of 171 Fifth Street, Dunbar, died Sunday, June 24, in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.  He was the son of Joshua and Nancy Ann Kiser Skeen.  He was a retired school teacher of Jackson and Kanawha counties and a retired furniture salesman for Sears, Roebuck & Co. and Stone and Thomas Dept. Store.  He was the oldest living member of the Goshen Baptist Church until his death, spanning 81 years.  Surviving:  two daughters, Mrs. Virgie Fields of Walton and Mrs. Velda Kessel of Dunbar; two sons, Veach Andrew Skeen, Cross Lanes, and Vail, St. Albans; one sister, Mrs. Mae Hamon, Dunbar; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  Services were held Tuesday at Goshen Baptist Church with the Rev. Orville Walker officiating.  Burial was in the Goshen Cemetery.   (McIntyre)
