Information: Nancy A. Skeen, wife of Joshua Skeen of Fletcher, died April 18, after an illness of but five days, believed to have been a severe attack of pneumonia fever.  She was born November 14, 1858, and died April 18, 1928, aged 69 years, 5 months and 4 days.  She was united in marriage with Joshua Skeen on September 9, 1877, and to this union eleven children were born, eight of whom are still living.  She professed christianity in early life and remained a true and devoted christian until the end.  She leaves to mourn their loss a husband and the following children:  W. K., H. C., J. M., T. B., A. C., J. D., H. B. Skeen and Mrs. Mae Hamon.  Also about thirty grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  The funeral services were held at the home on Thursday evening by Rev. T. O. Powers, assisted by Revs. John D. Hamon and Joseph Kiser.  A large crowd was in attendance.
