Information: A. C. (Ab) Skeen, 85, of Ripley, formerly of Kentuck, died Friday evening at Lakin State Hospital after a long illness.  He was born in Jackson County, son of the late Joshua and Nancy Kaiser Skeen, was a retired merchant, a former postmaster, and a former deputy sheriff here in the early 1930's.  Survivors include his wife, Alice Cadle Skeen; three sons, Paul of Welcome, N.C., Donald of Dilla Park, Ill., and Neil of Columbus, Ohio; one daughter, Doris Gandee of Kenna; one brother, Thoma B. of Dunbar; one sister, Mae Hamon of Dunbar, 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.  Burial was in Goshen Cemetery at Kentuck.
