  <p>Information: MILLWOOD - John Duane Simpkins, 65, of Millwood, died Monday, June 7, 2004, at Charleston General Hospital following a long illness.  He was born February 7, 1939 in New York, a son of the late John and Helen Cooper Simpkins.  He was a carpenter and a member of the Carpenters Union Local 899 at Parkersburg.  He is survived by his daughters, Dorothy Mayhew of Parkersburg, and Barbara Robinson and Patricia ?, both of New York; sons, Roger Simpkins of Kenna and Steve Simpkins of Ripley; sister, Kay Paterson of North Carolina; his companion, Zalithea ""Zip"" Walters and her children, Marta, Carla, Hughie and Scott.  He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  At the request of Mr. Simpkins, his body will be cremated and there will be no visitation or service.  Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home is serving the family.</p>
