Information: BOLING FUNERAL HELD WEDNESDAY - Funeral services for Corbitt Chester Boling, 43, of Ripley, were held at the Parsons funeral home last Wednesday with Rev. Wilburn Lucas officiating and the burial was in Pine Hill cemetery. Mr. Boling died at the Veterans Hospital at Clarksburg on Monday after a several months illness. He was born April 3, 1920 at Morehead, Ky., the son of the late Roy Boling and Mrs. Dessie Johnson Holstin of Charleston. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and a World War II veteran. Survivors include his mother; his wife, Mrs. Kathleen Smith Boling; two sons, Teddy Lee and Ronald....both at home; two daughters, Mrs. Anita Redmon, Ripley, and Miss Gloria Jean Boling, at home; two brothers, Robert Boling, Charleston,,,,,,,,,,,one grandchild. OBITUARY - Corbit Chester Bowling, 43, of 103 Straight Stree, Ripley, died on Monday, March 11 at the Veterans' Hospital in Clarksburg after a one year....of cancer. He was a teamster and a World War II veteran. Chet made his first decision for Christ in an Oral Roberts meeting in Charleston over 3 years ago and since then had renewed his love for God. His faith in his God was precious to him. Surviving him are his wife, Kathleen Smith Boling; two sons, Teddy Lee and Ronald Corbit Bowling; two daughters, Mrs. Anita Redman of Ripley, and Gloria Jean, at home; two brothers, Robert of Charleston and C...ton of Sattes; his mother, Mrs. Dessie Bowling Holstin, of Charleston; and one grandchild, also survive. He was preceded in death by his father, one sister and one brother. Purial was in Pine Hill cemetery in Ripley.
