Information: Velva Pearl Shinn, 92, of Evans, died March 3, 1992 at her home following a brief illness.  She was born in Evans, a daughter of the late Austin and Addie Sayre Shinn.  She attended the Evans United Methodist Church.  She was a member of the Millcreek Valley Homemakers Club and was a lifelong resident of Evans.  She is survived by two sisters, Venna Schupp of Evans, and Verta Combs of Huntington. Services were Friday at the Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating.  Burial was in the Otterbein Cemetery, Evans.
