  <p>Information: LONG ILLNESS CLAIMS J. B. (BOYD) SHINN - J. B. (Boyd) Shinn, 84, of Rt. 3, Ripley, died Saturday at the Pineview Convalescent Home, Harrisville, W. Va. after a long illness.  Mr. Shinn was born October 4, 1890 at Kenna, a son of the late R. P. and Artemeshia Shamblin Shinn.  He was a member of the Grasslick Baptist Church and a retired farmer.  Surviving:  sons, Perry and Lavelle, both of Ripley, Burton of Live Oak, Fla., Wayne of Denver, Colo, and Jack of N. J.; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.  Services were held Monday at the Grasslick Baptist Church, Kenna, with Rev. Rankin Roach officiating.  Burial was in Shinn Cemetery, Fairplain.  Vail Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.</p>
