  <p>Information: MOUNT ALTO - Clifford Lee Shinn, 92, of Mount Alto went home to be with the Lord May 20, 2002 in Jackson General Hospital.  He was born Feb. 11, 1910, in School House Run, a son of the late Charles and Bertie Park Shinn.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Virginia Shinn, and one brother, Dennie Shinn.  He was a farmer and an Army veteran of World War II.  He is survived by three daughters, Joyce Igo of Swiss, Ruth Pifer of Friendswood, Texas, Linda Johns of Hurricane; four grandchildren, Steve Pifer, Rachael Pifer, Sarah Pifer and Steven Nichols, Jr.  Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor Herman Jordan officiating.  Burial will be in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville, with military graveside rites provided by Sandyville VFW Post 3488 and Ripley American Legion Post 107.  Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.  Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, is in charge of arrangements.</p>
