Information: Arnold B. Shinn, 85, died at 12:45 a.m., June 29, 2008, at his residence. He was born May 31, 1923, in Cottageville, WV, to Hosea and Nancy Sayre Shinn, who preceded him in death. On June 1 , 1946, he married Alveta L. Pullins, who died June 30, 1995. In 2000, he married Donna McCloud, who survives in Arlington.  Mr. Shinn worked at the Lima Ford Engine Plant until retiring in 1987. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bluffton, and of the Bluffton Senior Citizens.  He was an avid golfer and bowler and enjoyed music and dancing. He was a World War II Navy veteran.  Survivors also include three sons, Randy Shinn of Gibsonburg, Ron Shinn of Hyattsville, MD, and Alan Shinn of Bluffton; three brothers, Daniel Shinn of Nitro, WV, Woodrow Shinn of McCutchenville, and Darrell Shinn of Tiffin; three sisters, Margaret Hill of Mount Alto, WV, Blanche Yentzer of Melbourne, FL, and Naomi Sayre of Evans, WV; and three grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Clark Shinn; and two sisters, Olive Campbell and Gladys McIntyre.  Service at Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Bluffton and burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton, OH.
