  <p>Information: RIPLEY - Wavy Jane Parsons Shields, 86, of Ripley, departed this life, August 3, 2006.  She was born September 19, 1919 in Kenna, a daughter of the late Arch Asbury and Cora Belle (Gibson) Parsons.  She was a homemaker and attended the Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church.  Survivors include her daughters Ruth Ann Hutchinson and Ruby Hicks both of Ripley; son Ronnie Shields of Evans; granddaughter Alicia Jane (Hutchinson) Rice of Nashville, TN.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenna Edward Shields, son, Randy Shields, seven brothers, seven sisters and a granddaughter, Teresa Lynn Hicks.  Funeral services were held Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Casto Funeral Home in Evans with Pastor Mark Siers officiating.  Burial followed in the Fairplain Cemetery.  Online condolences may be e-mailed to castofuneralhome@citynet.net.</p>
