  <p>Information: Mrs. Myrtle Shields, 87, of New Haven, died Monday in Jackson General Hospital, Ripley.  She was born May 7, 1892, at Mt. Alto, and was the last surviving member of the late George and Isabelle Carpenter Canter&#39;s immediate family.  Mrs. Shields was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church, Mt. Alto.  Surviving:  daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Mary) Sayre of New Haven; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held 1:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Hopewell Baptist Church, Mt. Alto, with Rev. Clarence Morton officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Foglesong Funeral Home, Mason, is in charge of arrangements.</p>
