  <p>Information: RIPLEY - Leslie Ora Sheets, 85, of Ripley, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Eldercare of Ripley after a long illness.  He was an Army veteran of World War II and retired as a foreman with the Department of Highways in Ripley.  He leaves behind his caring wife of 63 years, Kathleen Godbey Sheets; sons, David L. Sheets (Judy), Randall Sheets, Andy Sheets (Juanita), and Ronnie Sheets (Betsy) all of Ripley; daughters, Connie Ellis (Jeff) of Ripley and Diane Fore (Dennis) of Charleston; grandsons, Michael Sheets, Jonathon Sheets (Millie), Leonard Ray Sheets (Robin) of Cabin Creek, David L. Sheets, Jr. and fiancee Anna, Joseph Sheets (Ashley) of Ripley, Curtis Hager and B. J. Hager of Teays Valley, Marshall Swisher (Anna) of Ripley, and Andrew Sheets of Ripley; granddaughters, Adeline Sheets and fiancee, Dennis Pyles, Sue Foster (Ronnie) and Sara (Wesley)Pennington of Cabin Creek, Stephanie (Mike) Berry and Nina Hager of Fraziers Bottom, Danielle Richards (Tony) of Ripley, Dustin Casto (Sandra), Hope Goff (John) and Tonja Moore (Mike).  He is survived by 38 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.  Funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley. Burial with military rites by the American Legion Post 107 followed in the Pine Hill Cemetery.</p>
