  <p>Information: Janette H. Sheets, age 83, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015, at Mount Carmel East Hospital.  She was born November 23, 1931 in Jackson County WV to the late William H. and Hazel E. (Sayre) Herdman.  In additon to her parents, Janette was preceded in death by her husband, Sherley Edward Sheets; son, Gregory J. Sheets; sister, Beulah Stover; and brother, Keith Herdman.  Janette graduated as valedictorian from Point Pleasant High School, after which she studied at Holzer Nursing School.  She received a Master&#39;s Degree in Public Administration from The Ohio State University.  A long-time nurse educator, she served at Holzer Hospital, Capital University, and Mt. Carmel School of Nursing.         She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ted (Barbara) Sheets; grandsons, Theodore, Ryan, Logan, and Trevor Sheets; siblings, Bernice Harden, Gay (Imogene) Herdman, Dwight Herdman, Sally Cole, Garnet (Bonnie) Herdman, Beverly (Dallas) Durst, Edward (Vickie) Herdman, and sister-in-law, Goldie Herdman.  Service will be 2 pm Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Casto Funeral Home Chapel, Evans WV, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating.  Burial will follow in the Creston Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:30 pm until time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mount Carmel Hospice, Columbus OH.  Email condolences may be sent to castofh@gmail.com.</p>
