  <p>Information: Death has jus plucked off the tenderest stem of infant life, one of Ravenswood&#39;s most delicate and beautiful flowers, Garnet Rowand Shank, age nine months.  This child always seemed to us to posess an unusually sweet and gentle disposition, besides it&#39;s being beautiful to behold.  It was quite a favorite with the many friends of the Ravenswood House.  But God in his infinite wisdom willed for it a place among the fair and beautiful ones of the heavenly home; and so after three or four days suffering the spirit took its flight from earth July 3rd.  For the comfort of the bereaved parents and relatives we would say remember Jesus said ""of such is the kingdom of Heaven"".  [from the Mary Kouns scrapbook]</p>
