Information: Wayne Ivan Shanahan, 71, of 113 Straight St., Ripley, died at home Friday, after a long illness.  He was born in Libby, Mont., aon of the late Clyde ad Alexandra Rogers Shanahan.  He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a mechanical engineer.  He is survived by his wife, Margaret Jones Shanahan; a brother, Michael of Steilacoom, Wash.; a sister, Mrs. J. B. VanFaasen of Seattle, Wash. and a number of nieces and nephews.  The funeral was held Tuesday at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel, Ripley, with the Rev. Ronald Brooks officiating.  Burial was in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
