  <p>Information: Services were conducted Friday at the Parsons Funeral Home here for Mrs. Mary Aliefair Shamblin, 68, of Ripley, who was dead on arrival at Jackson General Hospital, Tuesday, February 7.  She had 161 surviving members of her family.  The Rev. D. C. Guthrie officiated with burial in the Pine Grove Cemetery at Ripley.  Mrs. Shamblin was born in Kanawha County, a daugher of the late Andrew and Mollie Gibson Spencer.  She was a member of the Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Jackson County. Surviving are six sons:  James of Winter Garden, Fla., William of Ripley, Virgil and Orville of Gay, Dale and Floyd of Lorain, Ohio; a stepson, Willie Shamblin of Ripley; six daughters, Mrs. Mary Southall and Mrs. Belva Farmer of Ripley, Mrs. Julia Casto and Mrs. Jean DeBerry of Parkersburg, Mrs. Dottie Haynes of Mount Alto and Mrs. Barbara Newman of Canton, Ohio; two half-brothers, Leroy Miller of Frost, Ohio and James Miller in Arizona; a half-sister, Mrs. Eva Spencer in Georgia; 76 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Adam.</p>
