  <p>Information: SHAMBLIN RITES HELD ON WEDNESDAY - Funeral services for George W. Shamblin who died at his home near Ripley on Tuesday, April 23 at the age of 71 years, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Mt. Moriah church with Rev. W. I. Fiber of Cottageville in charge.  Interment was in the cemetery there with J. B. Vail as the undertaker.  Mr. Shamblin was born July 28, 1870 near Ripley.  He was united in marriage to Eva Sharp who preceded him in death in December 1938.  He is survived by four sons, Holly, Clayton, Tom and John Shamblin and four daughters, Mrs. Vada Kay, Mrs. Tennie Lathey, Mrs. Dollie Stutler and Mrs. Margie Good.  One son and three daughters precededhim in death.</p>
