  <p>Information: RIPLEY - Mrs. Bessie R. Shamblin, 74, of Ripley died Dec. 30, 1991, at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after a long illness.  She was a homemaker.  Surviving:  brother, Jake Mullinex of Junction City, Ohio; half brothers, Hubert Ken Mullinex of Given, George Mullinex of Hartford; sister, Geneva Williams of Ripley; half sisters, Blanche Atkins, Sue Ferguson, Wilma Hammond and Barbara Lovins, all of Huntington, Stella Pelfrey of Kenova; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Orville Walker officiating.  Burial will be in Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.   </p>
