  <p>Information: Norma Jean Drain Scritchfield, 76, of Ravenswood WV, passed away at her home on January 18, 2012, surrounded by her family, from complications of Alzheimer&#39;s disease.  Jean was born March 29, 1934 in Shinnston WV, the daughter of the late Opal Sims and Robert L. Drain.  Jean is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ed Scritchfield; five children, James (Linda) Scritchfield, Penny (Phillip) Winter, Kim (Dee) Scritchfield, Rhonda (Gene) Shockey, Jefferie (Pam) Scritchfield; son-in-law, Mike Stark, all of Ravenswood; brothers, Bobby Drain, Jane Lew WV, Ronnie Drain, Stafford VA, Danny Drain, Shinnston WV, Mike Drain, Shinnston WV; sisters, Phyllis Helms, Shinnston WV, Loretta Curfman, Parkersburg WV, Jody Tate, Gypsy WV; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeri Lynn Stark.         Jean was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She found great pleasure in gardening and traveling.  She was a member of the North Shinnston Baptist Church and she attended North United Methodist Church in Ravenswood.  Services were held at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood WV, on Saturday, January 21, 2012.  Reverend Chris Skeens officiated.  Burial followed in Ravenswood Cemetery.     </p>
