  <p>Information: Elmer Wallace Scarberry, 66, of Evergreen Hills, Cottageville, died Tuesday at home, following a short illness.  He was born December 25, 1911, in Jackson County, son of the late William and Prudy Flowers Scarberry.  In 1934, he married Mildred Sayre, who survives.  He was a 15-year employeeof Vanadium Corp. and a member of the Steelworkers Union.  Other survivors:  one daughter, Mrs. Connie Shilts of Ft. Hueneme, Calif.; two sons, Charles of Largo, Florida, Ronald of Cottageville; sister, Mrs. Myrtle Boggs of Port Huron, Michigan; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death last May by a daughter, Carolyn.  Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with Rev. Charles Cavender and Rev. Clyde Syner officiating.  Burial will be in Jackson County Memory Gardens.  Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today (Wednesday).</p>
