  <p>Information: Wesley S. Sayre, son of Abraham and Kathrine Sayre, was born June 9, 1857, and departed this life March 15, 1937, age 79 years, nine months and six days.  He was united in marriage to Hattie Hughes.  To this union five children were born.  His wife and one son, Grover, have preceded him in death.  The following children survive: Edgar and Effie, Dortha and Anna.  He was then united in marriage to Ida Miller Newbury.  To this union five children were born:  Margaret, Mable, Holly, Harry and Cleon.  He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters:  Benjamin, George and Ezekiel Sayre; Mrs. Ruth Sayre of Letart and Mrs. Chariety ""Coon"" Bennett, of Cottageville.  ""Wess"", as he is better known, has been a cripple for many years.  He has a wide circle of relatives and friends who will miss him.    (Wesley Sayre&#39;s father was Abel Sayre, Jr., instead of Abraham.  He and second wife, Ida, are buried in Creston Cemetery, Mason Co. WV.  His first wife, Hattie, is buried in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Jackson Co. WV)   Ada Ruth Sayre</p>
