Information: Virginia Evelyn Sayre, 82, of St. Albans, passed away October 17, 2010 at Hubbard Hospice House.  She was born April 11, 1928, in Evans, and was a daughter of the late Clifford and Mary Morrison Sayre.  Virginia was a homemaker.  She loved horses and dogs and was known to all as a very helping person to those in need.  She was of the Protestant faith.  She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ralph Edison Sayre; brother, LeRoy Sayre of Evans; sisters, Bernice Wilkerson and Clarice Lester, both of Evans; special friends, Frank and Hilda Mynes; and a host of nieces and nephews.  A celebration of Virginia's life will be 6 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2010, at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, St. Albans, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.  A private graveside service will be held for the family at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hubbard Hospice House.
