  <p>Information: Samuel Eugene ""Bud"" Sayre, 68, of Cottageville, died Friday, October 13, 1989 at the Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, following an extended illness.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Fred L. and Marie Ankrum Sayre.  He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and was retired from American Standard in Columbus, Ohio.  He was a member of the AARP and was a Protestant by faith.  He is survived by one daughter, Brenda Gayle Curnell; four brothers, Henry Sayre, Robert Sayre, Reub Sayre and Jimmy ""Butch"" Sayre, all of Cottageville; one sister, Joan West of Cottageville; four grandchildren, David Curnell, Jr., Michael Curnell, Crystal Curnell and Eric Curnell.  Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Casto Funeral Chapel, Evans, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating. Burial was in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville.</p>
