  <p>Information: Robert Early Sayre, 69, of Cottageville, died Dec. 19, 1992, at the Veterans Hospital, Huntington, following an extended illness.  He was born in Cottageville, a son of the late Fred and Marie Ankrum Sayre.  He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Operating Engineers Local No. 132.  He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, and also was a farmer.  He was a Protestant by faith.          Surviving are his wife, Betty Floyd Sayre; two sons, Robert Dallas Sayre of Ripley and Patrick Earl Sayre, of Cottageville; one daughter, Carolyn Lanning of Ravenswood; three brothers, Jimmy ""Butch"" Sayre, Reub Sayre and Henry Sayre, all of Cottageville; one sister, Jo Ann West of Cottageville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Services were Tuesday at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating.  Burial was in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville, with military graveside rites.</p>
