  <p>Information: Orvil Luther Sayre, son of Abe and the later Ora Thomas Sayre, was born September 7, 1920.  He departed this life December 9, 1952, age 32 years, 3 months and two days.  He was united in marriage to Irene Thornton May 18, 1940.  He entered the service of his country July 19, 1945.  He served overseas thirteen months and was discharged Feb. 1, 1947.  He leaves to mourn their loss, his wife, his father, Abe Sayre of Leon and two sisters, Mrs. Cline Stover of Liberty, Mrs. Alfred Barnette of Elmwood, W. Va. and a host of relatives and friends.  His mother, one brother and four sisters preceded him in death.  Orville lived a life both beautiful and sweet, he had a smile for all he chanced to meet.  There were precious hours that friends have seen him toil and play, these memories still will linger since he has gone away.  You have passed this way, thy daily stage of duty run; But your memory still lingers after you went beyond the setting sun.</p>
