  <p>Information: Mrs. Martha Florence Sayre, 97, of Parkersburg, died at the Gordon Memorial Health Care Facility, Inc. in Spencer, Thursday after a long illness.  She was born in Jackson County, daughter of the late John W. and Malinda Harpold Sterne.  She was a member of the St. Andrew&#39;s United Methodist Church, and the Parkersburg Chapter No. 14, Order of the Eastern Star.  She is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Imogene Williams Beckett of Ripley, and Mrs. Freda Batten of Ravenswood; and a number of other nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Sayre, in 1965.  The funeral was held Sunday at the Parsons Funeral Home Chapel in Ripley, with the Rev. Orville Walker officiating. Burial was in the Otterbein Cemetery at Evans.</p>
