  <p>Information: Luster Esmer Sayre, 75, of Leon, died Friday, March 23, 1990, in Eldercare of Ripley, after a long illness.  He was a retired carpenter and a World War II Army veteran.  Surviving:  sons, Everett and James, both of Johnstown, Ohio, Delbert of Ripley; daughters, Sandra Shaffer of Mount Alto, Sheila Parsons of Leon; brothers, Richard of Rio Grande, Ohio, Floyd of Columbus, Ohio, and Leo of Proctorville, Ohio; sisters, Vertie Robinson of MacArthur, Ohio, Opal Callahan of Gallipolis, Ohio, Dora Long and Judy Jeany, both of Columbus, Mildred Strasbaugh and Gladys Grate, both of Wilkesville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  Service was Sunday at Casto Funeral Home.  Burial was in Otterbein Cemetery.</p>
