Information: Mrs. Virgie Ann Boggess, 85, of Charleston, died Friday in Riverside Nursing Home, St. Albans, after a long illness. Formerly of Jackson County, she had been a Kanawha County resident for 15 years. Surviving sons, Ralph of Dunbar, Thaddeous and Denver of Charleston, Thurmond at home; daughters, Mrs Ethel Milam of Middleport, Ohio, Mrs Lakie Pfost of New Port Richey, Fla., Miss Thelma Boggess at home; sister, Mrs. Tressie Slater of Nitro; half-sister, Mrs. Pearl Walker of Ripley; half-brothers, Oren Anderson and Otmer Anderson of Kenna; step-brothers, Dar Anderson, and Bennie Anderson of Charleston. Service was held Sunday in Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Shirley Hammack officiating. Burial was in Boggess family cemetery, Jackson County. NOTE: Mrs. Virginia ""Virgie"" Ann Thomas Boggess was born September 14, 1890. She married A. Story Boggess on January 22, 1908.
