  <p>Information: SAYRE FUNERAL HELD SUNDAY - Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the E. U. B. Church at Evans, for Joseph E. Sayre, 80, of Evans, who died on Friday at a Charleston hospital, following a long illness.  He was born at Evans, March 3, 1884, a son of the late Benjamin Franklin and Mary Sayre.  He was a retired farmer and a member of the EUB Church at Evans.  Surviving are two brothers, Homer Sayre, Parkersburg, and Eph Sayre, Evans; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Wedge, Leon and Mrs. Ethel Click of Ravenswood.  Rev. Michael O&#39;Dell and the Rev. Basil Harris officiated, with the Casto Funeral Home in Evans in charge of arrangements.</p>
