Information: John T. Sayre, 84, native of Evans, Jackson county, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Edgar E. Sayre, 929 Thirty-second street, with whom he had made his home the past several years.  He was a son of Issac and Margaret Love Sayre and was married to Della Mae Shinn, who survives.  He and Mrs. Sayre recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.  He had been a member of the Ripley lodge of Masons a number of years.  In additon to his widow, he leaves three sons, Isaac of Nitro, Harry R. and Marshall, both of Columbus, O.; four daughters, Mrs. Zora Sayre, at whose home he died, Mrs. Susie Stewart, Columbus, O., Mrs. Arlene Kemp of Macon, Ga., and Mrs. Genevieve Hamilton of Worthington, O.; one sister, Mrs. W. E. Carpenter, Route 1, Weston; 19 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from the Otterbein Church in Jackson county and burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The body of the deceased will remain at the Sayre home until Friday noon.
