Information: J. Owen Sayre, born January 12, 1890, departed this life August 10, 1935, aged 45 years, 6 months and 28 days.  He was the son of J. O. and Alice Homes Sayre.  He was united in marriage April 17, 1915 to Isa Mearl Hunt and to this union were born four sons, one of which preceded him in death in infancy.  Those surviving are Henry Oliver, Forrest Osborne and Orville Ray.  He leaves to mourn their loss, his wife and three children at home and his step-mother, Maggie Sayre and one brother, V. A. Sayre of Addison, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Wilbur Sayre of Indiana, Mrs. Vena Starcher of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Alice Kay of Ripley; six half-sisters, Mrs. S. Moore, Akron, Mrs. C. A. West of Akron, Mrs. E. Moore of Cottageville, Mrs. S. T. Lewis of Pittsburgh, Pa., Mrs. B. B. Moore of Evans, and Mrs. L. F. Donohew of Akron; two half-brothers, Arnold Sayre of Evans and Armor Sayre of Akron, Ohio and a host of relatives and friends.  He was a true and faithful husband and a kind and loving father.  To know him was to love him.  He will be sadly missed in his community. ""Dearest Owen thou hast left us, And our hearts are filled with woe, But we hope that at the Judgement, We may into Heaven with you go."
