  <p>Information: RAVENSWOOD - Hilda V. Sayre, 88, of Ravenswood, Jackson County, departed this life, July 19, 2004, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.  She was born May 21, 1916 in Angerona, a daughter of the late David Francis and Edna Lewis Sayre.  She was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy Nurses Corps from 1943 to 1946.  She was a graduate of Ravenswood High School, the Christ Hospital School of Nursing, Cincinnati, Ohio, and St. Marys of the College, Columbus, Ohio.  She was associate director of St. Joseph&#39;s School of Nursing, Parkersburg, for eight years and supervisor of the Medical Department of Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation, Ravenswood Works, for 26 years.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Ravenswood.  She is survived by several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Ted and Clinton Sayre; and a sister, Eva McConnell.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, at Casto Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Richard Cottrill officiating.  Burial will follow in Otterbein Cemetery, Evans.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.</p>
