  <p>Information: RIPLEY - Hazel May Sayre, 96, of Ripley, passed away August 8, 2009, at her home.  She was born April 26, 1913, in Cottageville, a daughter of the late Abijah Lee and Martha (Flowers) Hughes.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Holly W. Sayre, five sisters, and three brothers.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening, and quilting.  She attended the Antioch Evangelical United Brethren Church.  Survivors include her sons, Neil Sayre of Cottageville and Louis Sayre of Ravenswood; daughters, Naomi Miller of Russell, KY, Lenora Ounan, Oscoda MI, and Shirley Southall of Ripley; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.  Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre and the Rev. Aaron McIntyre officiating.  Burial will follow in Jackson County Memory Gardens, Cottageville.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday.  Online condolences may be sent to: castofuneralhome@citynet.net.</p>
