  <p>Information: Garnet Marie Hamon Sayre, 83, of Hurricane, passed away Oct. 5, 2008, in SunBridge Care & Rehabilitation for Putnam, Hurricane, following an extended illness.  She was born April 11, 1925, in Advent and was a daughter of the late Andrew Dexter and Delphia Mundy Hamon.  She was a 1942 graduate of Ripley High School.  She also graduated from Charleston Business College and was a former employee of Goodwin & Goodwin and the state of West Virginia and also was a former employee of the First National Bank of South Charleston.  She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 17, Ripley, for over 50 years.  Surviving are her husbankd of 61 years, James Otis Sayre; son, James Gregory Sayre of Alexandria, Va.; sisters, Jo Crum of Cottageville, Genevieve Casto of South Charleston and Agnes Miller of Russell, Ky.; grandchildren, Alexadra and Kateri; and several nieces and nephews.  Private graveside services will be held in Blaine Memorial Cemetery, Cottageville.  Arrangements are provided by Casto Funeral Home, Evans.  Online condolences may be sent to castofuneralhome@citynet.net.</p>
