Information: Fred L. Sayre, 69, of Cottageville, died Saturday night at his home following a long illness.  He was a veteran of the First World War.  Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marie Sayre; six sons, Samuel, Glen and Henry Sayre, all of Columbus, Reuben, Robert and Jimmy Sayre, all of Cottageville; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Cunningham, Ripley and Mrs. Imogene Dean, Rutland, Ohio; and 19 grandchildren.  Services were held Tuesday at the Casto funeral home chapel at Evans.  The Rev. Armor Sayre officiated.  Burial was in Blaine Memorial cemetery at Cottageville.
