Information: Floyd F. Sayre, oldest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Sayre, of Evans, died of a heart attack on Oct. 10, at Pittsburgh, Pa. He had gone to work at six o'clock. At the noon hour he sat down in a pullman coach where he died. He had been employed by the Pittsburgh railroad for 36 years. He was 53 years old at the time of his death. He leaves his widow, Esther (Darley) Sayre, four daughters and one son, namely, Mrs. Olive Shanan of Columbus, Ohio, Ruth Kinley of Pittsburgh, Stanley, Mary Jane and Dortha Jean Sayre, at home. He was the brother of Nella Sayre of Ohio, Jimmie Chase, June Donohew, of Evans, Oat Sayre of Letart and Ralph Sayre, of Toledo, Ohio. Ralph and wife were the only relatives to attend the funeral. He was laid to rest in the Oak Dale Cemetery near his home. He leaves one uncle, Elijah Sayre of Evans and a host of cousins and friends in W. Va., as he visited in Jackson County quite often.
