Information: Sherden R. “Ross” Boggess, 70, of Kanawha Two-Mile, died Tuesday in Memorial Division, CAMC after a long illness. He was a retired millwright from Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Co. and was an Army veteran of World War II. Surviving: wife, Ida Peyton Boggess; sons, Michael R. and Joseph L. of Charleston, James G. Ransbottom and Everett S. Ransbottom, of Brunswick, Ohio, Arnold W. Asbury of Charleston; daughters, Mrs. Brenda Kay Bibbee of Dunbar, Mrs. Freda B. Slater of Charleston, Mrs. Betty Phillips of Melbourne, Fla., Mrs. Loretta J. Smith of Falls Church, Va., Mrs. Mary M. Newhouse of Brunswick; brother, Londa of Sissonville; sisters, Mrs. Millie Sigmon of Sissonville, Mrs. Viva Litton of Winter Park, Fla., Mrs. Dovies Matthews of Charleston; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.  Service was held Thursday in Cunningham Parker Jhnson Funeral Home with the Rev.
