Information: Elmer Ferman Sayre, 77, of Cottageville, Rt. 2, died Wednesday at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley.  He was born September 28, 1894, at Angerona, son of the late Oscar and Eliza Jane King Sayre.  He was a retired carpenter. Survivors include his widow, Chloe Donohew Sayre; two daughters, Mrs. Cibyl Donohew of Deerfield, OH, and Mrs. Mary Louise Ferrell of Monroe Falls, OH; two sons, Elmer Ferman Sayre, Jr. of Arizona and Blythe Sayre of Cincinnati, OH; one sister, Mrs. Florence Sayre of Cottageville; and one brother, Samuel of Belpre, OH. Funeral services were conducted Friday at the Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Wade Simons officiating.  Burial was in the Otterbein Cemetery.
