Information: Mrs. Elizabeth Caroline Sayre wife of Josephus Sayre died at her home at Evans at 6 o'clock Tuesday morning. She was 63 years of age. Mrs. Sayre had been in failing health for about a year, following an attack of pneumonia from which she never recovered. She united with the U. B. Church 46 years ago, and lived a noble, Christian life, and leaves many friends who will be pained to learn of her death. The funeral service was held at the Otterbein Church at 2 PM Wednesday, conducted by Rev. Ramsey, after which the remains were buried in the Otterbein Cemetery. Those surviving are the husband; two sons, M. Luther of Ambridge, Pa. and W. Russell at home; two daughters, Mrs. Will (Nellie) King of Cottageville and Mrs. Sam (Ora) Sayre of Baden, Mason County; two sisters, Mrs. T. J. Rader of Ripley, Mrs. G. R. Casto of Millwood; and five brothers, J. S. Hogsett of Letart, Ohio, J. W. & W. H. Hogsett of Ripley, D. M. Hogsett of North Platte, Neb. and F. M. Hogsett of Evans.
