Information: Mrs. Corda Minerva Sayre, 76, of Cottageville, Rt. 2, died Thursday at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, following a long illness. Born in Rock Castle, March 12, 1898, she was the daughter of Francis and Emma Stone Miller. She was united in marriage Jan. 13, 1917, to George Thomas Sayre, who survives. Early in life, she was converted at Creston E.U.B. church and in 1923 became a member of the Angerona Church of God on Cow Run where she taught Sunday School for 35 years. Other survivors include two daughters, Lena Sayre and Mildred McIntyre, both of Evans; four sons, Howard and Lorain of Orient, Ohio, Londis of Akron, O., and Brycle of Evans; one sister, Avie, Akron; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. *Buried at Creston Cemetery
