  <p>Information: Funeral services for Charles Melvin Sayre, 86, of Evans, will be held in the Casto Funeral Home at Evans, at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 18.  Burial will be in the Otterbein Cemetery with Rev. Armor Sayre officiating.  Mr. Sayre died Tuesday in the Masonic Home in Parkersburg after a long illness.  He was born February 4, 1885, at Evans, the son of the late L. F. Sayre and Nancy Lewis Sayre.  He was a retired farmer and the first rural mail carrier from Evans, having traveled his route from 1909 to 1915.  Mr. Sayre was the operator of a general store in Sandyville from 1940 until the time of his retirement.  He was a member of the AFAM Lodge for 55 years.</p>
