  <p>Information: Carroll E. Sayre, 74, of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., formerly of Cottageville, died Thursday, March 5, 1987 at Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, Fla., after an extended illness.  He was born at Evans, a son of the late Ruth E. and B. F. Sayre, Jr.  He was a member of Beach United Methodist Church in Jacksonville Beach, Fla., and was a 33rd Degree Mason.  He was also a member of the William B. Barnett Lodge No. 187 AF & AM, the Scottish Rite Bodies and the Morrocco Temple of the Shrine, all of Jacksonville, Fla.  He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Durst Sayre; and one brother, F. Wayne Sayre of Vienna.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Stella Sayre, and one brother, B. Frank Sayre.  Services will be 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with burial in the Methodist Cemetery in Cottageville.  James Pinkerton officiated with Masonic graveside rites.</p>
