  <p>Information: V. B. ""Brad"" Sayre, 82, of Amanda, OH, formerly of Ripley, died Dec. 10, 1994, at his granddaughter&#39;s home in Amanda after a brief illness.  He was born in Millwood, a son of the late Hugh and Lilly Shinn Sayre.  He was a former West Virginia state senator, a former Oldsmobile dealer in Ripley and a farmer.  He was active in Republican and local politics.  Surviving are a son, Hayward M. Sayre of Waycross, GA; three sisters, Patty Fowler of Leon, Jeanne Rhodes of Malden and Farrell Mundy of Charleston; a brother, Troy Sayre of Leon; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Neely Sayre; two brothers; and two sisters. Services were Tuesday at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, the Rev. Leon Strickland officiating. Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery, near Spencer.</p>
