  <p>Information: Alma L. West Sayre, 84, of Grundy VA, formerly of Jackson county, departed this life December 28, 1997 at Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness.  She was born at Angerona, WV, a daughter of the late Earley and Dora Flowers Casto. She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church and she was a homemaker.  Surviving are daughters, Charlotte Janet Cain Skeens and Margaret Cain Lockhart both of Grundy, VA; step-daughter, Evelyn Hunt of Evans, WV; step-sons, Page Sayre of Cottageville and Wilmer Sayre, Jr. of Charleston, WV; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilmer Sayre, Sr.; 5 brothers; 1 sister.  Services were held Dec. 31, 1997 in Grundy, VA with Evangelists Michael Trent, Mike Rife and Jackie Miller officiating.  Burial was in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.  Information provided by Casto Funeral Home, Evans WV.</p>
